To cancel your admission, you need to inform your Authorised Enrolment Partner or Learning Centre to initiate your admission cancellation process with the University. University will send a Refund form via mail which you will have to fill and submit along with the specimen of your signature. Internal Assessments – Each subject is covered in 10 lectures. However, there are a total of 9 assessments per subject. 1st assessment is based on the 1st lecture and is scheduled post the 2nd lecture . This allows the student time to revise concepts & prepare for the assessment.
Term End Exams – Term end exams are conducted every 2 weeks (either Sunday or Saturday) post all lectures of a particular subject are completed.
Term 5 consists of the Capstone Project, and can be accessed on the Student Zone

For terms 1 to 5: Every Subject will comprise of two grading components Internal Assignment or Project ( 40%) and Term End Exam (60%). Internal Assignment/Project and Term End Examination are mandatory components in nature.
Internal Assignment: In each subject there would be a total of five assignments of 10 marks each. Among these five, best four are taken into consideration.
Project: Project will have a fixed subject-wise deadline as per timetable.
Term End Exam: Final Examination has individual cut-off component i.e. individual passing cut-off marks (40% of 60 marks = ‘24 marks’).
To be declared as ‘Pass’ in each subject, student needs to submit the Internal Assignment/Project as well as necessarily appear for the Term End Examination.

Default TEE attempt (60 marks) has no exam fee. However, if there is any failure in the subject, Rs. 2500/- will be applicable per subject.
1. Student can choose to only appear for re-exam of 100 marks conducted at the end of every TERM by paying the applicable fees of Rs 2,500/- per subject

Re-sit exams are conducted only at 9 cities where NMIMS Global Access has its regional offices i.e. Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune, Indore, Ahmedabad and Kolkata. Apart from these there could be additional centres and students need to check the same during exam registration.
MBA (WX) :
Student can appear for the Term End Exam (30 marks) and Re-Exam (100 marks) from any location of his/her choice via Mettl platform. The student can also opt to come to our regional office (options will be displayed during the exam registration process).

To be eligible for the Re-Sit examinations, every student is expected to complete minimum of six months in a semester.
MBA (WX) & MBA (X) :
Students who have not cleared the subjects as per the passing criteria are eligible for re-sit examinations . This is not for grade improvement.
M.Sc. in Applied Finance & Professional Diploma Programs:
Student can directly appear for Re-Sit Exams but needs to complete minimum of six months in each semester after enrolment in a semester. For e.g. student enrolling in January Batch will be eligible to appear for the first term end examination only in June and not for April Re-Sit examination . Student enrolling in July Batch will be eligible to appear for the first term end examination only in December and not for September.
MBA (WX) & MBA (X) :
Yes. Rs. 2500/- will be applicable per subject for re-examinations. They will be scheduled at a fixed time & date decided by the University.
M.Sc in Applied Finance & Professional Diploma
Yes. The student needs to register for the Re-Sit examinations. The exam registration can be done online through the Student Zone and is on first come first serve basis, when the window for Re-Sit Exam opens. The student must not wait till last minute for exam registration as it could lead to unavailability of preferable exam centre/date/time slot, as seats are limited.

The University allows for a flexible examination schedule. They are conducted on Friday/Saturday/Sunday over 3 to 4 weeks. Each day has 3 exam slots to choose from. The student is free to choose the Exam Centre & Exam Day/Date/Time based on his/her preference.
MBA (WX) & MBA (X)
The University decides time slots for term end exams, the student can pick from them. This is not applicable for re-sit exams; students will have to appear for the same as per the date & time announced by the University.

Student can appear for upto 3 examinations in a day, subject to exam date, time slot & centre availability.

As per the university format, first name of both the parents will be reflected on the mark sheets and final certificate.
Students who want physical copies for mark sheets need to raise a service request through Student Zone: Student Zone -> Student Support -> Service Request -> Issuance of mark sheet/Final certificate. They can opt to get the same delivered to their shipping address or collect the same from their regional office. They will get a confirmation email once the documents are generated. Charges are applicable, wherever required.
Student will have to raise a service request for a transcript. Three copies of the transcript will be issued for Rs. 1000/-. For every additional extra copy, there will be a charge of Rs. 300/-
Yes, the University sends the transcripts to the World Education Services. In order to do so, students can email on ngasce@nmims.edu mentioning their complete requirement of documents needed to be sent along with the transcripts. They also need to confirm the address it needs to be sent to. Once the address is received, the University will then confirm the courier charge. After the completion of above mentioned steps, documents will be sent to WES.
M.Sc (Applied Finance) & Professional Diploma :
Student can avail the option of Re-exam till the time he does not clear the subject with the minimum passing criteria of 50% until program validity
MBA (WX):
Depends on when the validity of the program ends. There is no point of any student using the above options when they cannot complete the program within validity.
Student should clear:
a. TERM 1 by 18th month in the program
b. TERM 2 by 21st month in the program
c. TERM 3 by 24th month in the program
d. TERM 4 by 27th month in the program
e. TERM 5 by 30th month in the program
